What’s The Difference Between Dating And Having A Boyfriend?

24 April 2009 167 views 6 Comments

Is it the same or what is it that makes it different. How do you know you are dating someone. I mean I’ve been hanging around with some guy, still no kiss but we are going out and do like each others company.

    Completely different!
You only DATE when you are single. Dating is going out with many different guys to see which one you want to make your boyfreind. That doesnt mean HAVE SEX with all of the guys you date. You just kind of talk to them, go out with them to the movies and stuff, and get to know them.
Having a boyfriend is the next step. Out of the guys you date, you choose which one you like the best, and that person becomes your boyfriend.

dating is more casual. you’re just seeing each other, you’re not necessarily exclusive and you aren’t very serious.
you’ll know when you’re boyfriend/girlfriend, because he will ask you to be his girlfriend, or he will start calling you his girlfriend. you guys then are more committed to each other and in a more serious relationship.
if things keep goin well for you guys, you probably will start being bf/gf. good luck!

There is definately a difference! I know because I am dating a guy right now, and we are not bf gf yet. You guys are dating by the sounds of it, so unfortunately you will have to play the waiting game and wait until he makes the big announcement – that he wants to be your boyfriend.
    And it will happen :)

Dating is just going out and getting a feel of what the other person is like…getting to know someone basically. You can date more than one person until you find one you like the most and only want to stick with that one.
Being bf gf with someone makes it official. There is a relationship now.
    Good luck.
