I mean like has anyone actually found that someone special and if so, how does it work.

Heh, I found my girlfriend on myspace actually. For a couple of days I messaged a couple of girls to see what was potentially out there and met my current gf. We have been going out for almost a year now and going strong.
I know it can work. It all just depends on the people in the relationship or on the site. Just like your probably not going to get the hottest girl (if your a guy) on the dating site that loves to pillow fight with other naked girls because 1)she just wants attention or 2)she’s fake.
If your looking at dating on sites, just be open minded and patient. I haven’t done an actual dating site myself, but I have looked just to see and notice that a lot of girls are too busy, intimidated, or go to the wrong places to go out to meet guys and vise versa. Or they are new to the area.
Send a few emails before you actually meet the person just to make sure he/she is in the ballpark of what your looking for then go from there.
Bottom line. If your asking if you should try it or not, I would say do it. I just checked eharmony and that’s like $50 or $60 a month. Wow. I might try other alternatives first, but it did seem like they asked a lot of questions to get a good match. It may be a little expensive but may be worth it. Or match.com or whatever site you choose to possibly use. Just keep in mind you may OR may not find what you are looking for.
The dating sites work only depending on the person and depending on the site. Some dating sites are definitely less reliable than others. MySpace I don’t think is the ideal place to meet at all, too much danger involved. Honestly, I think it works better for “older” people, not necessarily for teenagers or young twenties. You still have time, don’t resort to dating sites just because you feel like you need a boyfriend. You can do without a boyfriend, and love will come when it’s meant to be. God bless!
I would recommend a girl doing it because it’s a whole lot more dangerous then for a guy. But yes eharmony does work when not exploited because the scans are so thorough.
I guess you are asking this question because the only guys that are attracted to you are 3 years younger or 12 years older and you are looking for a escape goat?

It can be hard looking for that ’special someone’ these days. All the weirdo’s seem to come out the woodwork when you enter the singles scene. I’ve heard that when you look for love, you never find it. But when you aren’t looking for it, it slaps you in the face. I don’t know if it’s true, but I’m a firm believer that things happen for a reason, and that for everyone looking for love, they will find ‘the one’. Time is the enemy here. You’re still young, and therefore…young at heart. Don’t get bitter, and start making things difficult for yourself. Be happy, and try to maintain a positive outlook. Good things will happen to you.
Well I didnt do a dating site but I did meet my love from the net..
My aunt and his dad met on some stupid dating site…and they talked bout thier children and family and everyone’s ages lmao and so my aunt gave his dad my email address for his son to contact me, so i would have an IMing buddy. Thats what it started out btw…we were friends, eventually i called him after a few weeks and a few months later we met in a mutal place( he drove down, took 3 hours lol) and that was bout it.Seen a movie and walked around the mall and park. Well didnt really last because we were young and the distance-3 hrs was far away for high school students so we remained friends..but 2 years later we got back in contact and he came down again and well we made it work this time, mainly because we’re out of high school and because i could move to his town..
so it can work, like in our case it did..kind of funny though, my aunt and his dad didnt work out!
yes/no you might be lucky then again do you really trust who the other person at the end say they are? there have been a lot of Creepers who act like other people just to stalk, rape, kill or what ever they decide to do. if so be careful and don’t give out any personal information easy

I think it would work, but to me it’s not worth spending money to find someone because a lot of those websites cost money. I would just use myspace or facebook. I met someone I became very close to on myspace.
