I got a girl’s number the other night. She said she has been dating someone for the past 2 weeks. Should I read anything into that or just call her? Obviously she is interested otherwise wouldn’t have given me her number. Just didn’t know if different rules apply. She is also about 5 years my senior.

the question is not “when you should call her?” but “how your gonna call her?” i mean, she did gave you her number so that is a sign that she might be interested. so when you call be, make it more like a friendly call to evaluate the situation. if your cool as a cat then things will fall in place in due time.
Ok my thoughts. She was HONEST in telling you she has been seeing someone. This means she is dating around til she decides who she wants to get serious with. If you are ok with that then go for it. If you are the type of guy who wants to be exclusive right away she is not the one for you.
