I am 47 and living in Denver, I am single with a couple of cats.
I do not want to spend another winter in Denver, and would
like to live in CA, a place where I can ride my motorcycle
and work as a local truck driver. I would be a renter for the
foreseeable future. Thanks.

Why would you want to move there? If you are a truck driver you can find work anywhere. Why not south Carolina or some where? No helmet law, cheap taxes (California will kill you with taxes), its friggin beautiful over there, and they allow cats. ( I checked)
i like l.a., pasadena, sacramento, but quality of life’s probably not the best.. if you like motorcycles, move somewhere in central outside sacramento or stockton, lots of country, very pretty.
