There are a few good places for a 25 year old single girl from the UK to live in Brisbane. I imagine that you would like to live close to the city, so I would suggest looking for a place in either New Farm, West End, Kangaroo Point – or if you want inner-inner city then look at a palce in the City, Fortitude Valley or Spring Hill. It would be easier to find a place in the other location that I listed above, and they are not very far from the heart of the city – about a 15/20 minute walk.

Stay away from Suburbia Sparkley! Closer to the city is better. New Farm and the Valley are trendy, youth orientated. Paddington, Rosalie and Milton are abit more laid back. West End is really laid back. There are also areas like Toowong and St Lucia that are filled with students so sometimes offer cheap digs.
The Valley it’s right in the middle of Brisbane
Kangaroo Point. It’s just a ferry ride away from the city. It’s also close to the south side of Brisbane.
