Are There Negative Connotations With Online Dating?

11 February 2010 249 views 2 Comments

It seems there is significantly less stigma associated with on-line dating; is that true? Does this actually work? For those that do it, are you embarrassed by it at all? Do you tell your friends about it? Thanks.

A lot of people turn to dating sites. There is nothing wrong with them. It is time people stopped staying out of other people’s business. It is also time to stop caring about what others think. If you want to try it, go for it! People are tired of the bar scenes.
My friends joined a dating site, and I gave them 100% support. They met great guys on one particular site called http://www.americanssingles.info
They joined for free, which is cool. Give it a shot, like I said, there is nothing wrong with it.

No there aren’t any negative connotations – it’s a great way to connect with someone. I met my husband through a print personal ad (before the internet). There are studies out about how people form a stronger bond easier and quicker through internet dating because of email.
