There is someone for everyone but my own type is thin.
How can I specify that online without evoking finger wags and hate ???

Just write a list of physical attribute you look for like: prefer someone who is asian, dark hair and slim.
By using the word PREFER you are not saying no to other types and its more subtle.
Who cares what others think – you are entitled to your preferences. I wrote that i prefer tall guys in my profile.
