I just got separated 6 weeks ago. Our relationship lasted 6 years. Looking back, even now, I know that my heart wasn’t in it long before I left. I hadn’t been happy for quite some time and I think I was staying for the convenience, and for the kids.

Really, has anyone ever noticed how many guys who pay the check all the time during the dating stage ever end up doing half (or more) of the housework after marriage?

I’m a single mom of 3 kids. My ex walked out on us. I don’t know when is the right time to start going out and dating new people. We have been separated for 3 1/2 months now. I waited to see if he would change his mind and come back. But from what it looks like he is happy the way he is.

My farther died Jan ’07 and my mother has just started dating another man who’s wife recently died 6 months ago. I do not like the idea that she is seeing someone. I feel like my father doesn’t matter anymore.
I just have to get used to the idea no matter how I feel because she is so much happier as a person and will do whatever she chooses.

An ex keeps showing up on the personal dating sites. I asked why she was still on there, and she claims they continue to show her picture, and even show she has logged on occasionally. She is obviously logging on, she claims they keep sending her emails, but wouldn’t she still have to log on? Otherwise I can’t imagine why it would still keep showing her pictures and her logging on.

I’ve recently broke-up my boyfriend of three years. I don’t usually go looking for guys immediately after leaving a relationship. I like to give myself about 4 or 5 months before I’m interested in dating again.

My parents got divorced a year ago. My mom has not wanted to date at all. but my dad has been dating the entire divorce. I have finally met my dads current, long term girl friend. I like her and shes really nice, but at the same time i dont know how to feel about this. its so weird to see him with someone other than my mom. and i feel disloyal to my mom as well. has anyone been in this situation? how’d you handle it?
