We’ve been dating for a couple of months, and we’ve always agreed that it would only be a fun, casual thing, but she’s now hinting that she’d like to take things further.
I’ve done serious relationships, with the longest being 12 years and the most recent (18 months of on again off again) ending quite messily. To be honest I just don’t want another serious relationship right now.
But, she’s a nice person and has become a very dear friend. I want to let her down gently.
