So as part of my new year’s resolution I’m thinking about trying out online dating, BUT I want to know if it is safe. How do you stay away from the creeps online while still putting yourself out there to meet new people? Personal experiences will really help me here! Thanks a bunch.

I’ve had 2 dates with this guy and he says he wants to see me again but I haven’t heard from him since last thursday and I was the one who contacted him on thursday. It’s now monday, should I be worried or is it normal to not hear from him for a week? I haven’t dated in 20 years so I’m a bit lost on dating edict.
